The fairy penguin is one of hundreds of species harmed by entanglement and ingestion from plastic pollution.
The artist Katharine Owens is conducting a multi-year art project to create life sized portraits of the animals most at risk. She creates the portraits by hand-sewing film plastic waste that is difficult to recycle onto canvas.
The largest pieces (think whales) are created with the public. Hundreds of community members have sewed along on her projects to date. Follow the project at www.katowens.com.

filtered water, vegetable glycerin, Reishi-Ganorderma Tsugae, Artist's conk-ganoderma applanatum, turkey tails-trametes versicolor, Birch polypores-Pitptoporus betulinus, Maitake-Grifola Frondosa are all amazing tonics for the immune system.
The herbal tincture is made from organic non-gmo vegetable glycerin and filtered water and then put in a 2oz. dropper bottle. The double extraction method was used. After the mushrooms are extracted from the glycerin in about a month's time. The extract was strained and put aside. The mushrooms were then decocted (boiled then simmered) in water for 45 minutes. They were strained and then combined with the glycerin extraction. There are some medicinal qualities that will come out from the glycerin called triterpines. There are others that will only come out by being decocted in water called beta-glucans.
Directions:
Add 1-2 dropper full into 6 oz. of filter water. Take 2-3 times a day. Take for 2-4 weeks at a time. Boost immunity, detox the body, and get an energy boost.
