Make single-use sandwich bags a thing of the past with these reusable cotton snack and sandwich bags. Handmade in Manchester, Connecticut by The Greener Gift, a local woman-owned small business, each bag is created in small batches using consciously sourced cotton fabrics—often from overstock and secondhand materials to help reduce waste.

Each bag is lined with a food-safe, water-resistant fabric (the same lining used in The Greener Gift’s popular bowl covers). The fold-over or snap-top closures keep snacks and meals secure without plastic, while the no-exposed-seam construction ensures durability and easy cleaning.

Cotton rag paper is the perfect example of tree-free, upcycled and recycled paper. As a natural product, cotton is completely biodegradable. Cotton bits, usually the by-products of manufactured cotton cloth, are color sorted, chopped, and pulverized then mixed with water and laid out to dry. The process takes about three days.
