How to load a blade in a 3-piece style safety razor: 

1. Unscrew the handle from the two blade holding plates.  
2. Place the blade (be careful it's sharp!) between the blade holding plates and screw the handle back in.  
3. You're ready to shave!

How to shave: 

1. Wet hair with warm water.  
2. Lather shaving cream onto skin (A brush will help create a better lather and to lift the hair).  
3. Hold the blade at a 30 degree angle and let the weight of the handle do the work.  Do NOT pull the razor across your skin like you would with a plastic disposable razor.  
4. Use short strokes, about 2 inches long, when you first switch to using a safety razor.
5. Finish with after shave ointment or lotion.

How to take care of your zero-waste razor: 

1. Rinse all the soap/ hair/ gunk from your razor after each use.
2. Shake your razor to dry it. Using a towel to dry will make your blades duller. 
3. Ensure your razor is stored in a dry spot to increase the life of your blades.
4. If you notice any corrosion, rub that spot vigorously with a terry cloth towel, or a small piece of emery cloth.
5. Ensure your razor is clean and dry to make it last longer!

Directions: Spray topically for prevention when exposed to poison ivy. Jewelweed helps to dissolve the urushiol oil that is in poison ivy which causes the contact dermatitis rash. This spray can also treat poison ivy if you do end up contracting it. Spray liberally on the affected area a few times a day to soothe and dry out the rash.

Pull the tissue out from the bottom slot, use, and tuck it back on top. A barrier will keep the used tissues separated from the clean ones. When they're all used you can toss them in with your laundry and they come out even softer than before. Dry them, fold them, and pop them back into the case.

The silicone case can be washed with alcohol or in the dishwasher. Each tissue can be reused 500 times, so with 6 tissues you'll eliminate 3000 single-use tissues!
