fat marshmallow is quite simply, a whipped tallow skin fluff- a whipped body butter. It is the most pared down & simple of our recipes: tallow, a bit of beeswax, infused with vanilla bean & marshmallow root, with no additional colors or fragrances, plus just a dash of arrowroot added to keep it from being too greasy upon application.

While they can feel initially moisturizing, over time they interfere with your skin's own sebum production, causing your body to produce even less, keeping you trapped in a cycle of dependency. Tallow, coming from our bovine brethren, is molecularly much closer to the oils your body produces, so it delivers a moderate and pH balanced boost, even gradually helping to heal the skin, causing you to need less over time. We source our tallow from local, regenerative agriculture farms. Our glass packaging is upcycled, post consumer glass, processed by and purchased from Philadelphia non profit Bottle Underground. We use only essential oils & absolutes to scent, plants & clays to color our products. We never use synthetics, soy/coconut/palm oils.

If you order this product online during the warmer months, it may not arrive with its usual fluffy texture. The natural beef fat begins to melt around 72 degrees and, while it is still safe and effective to use once melted, it does change the consistency.

Here's how to use our All-Purpose Home Cleaner:

• Our refillable glass spray bottle comes pre-loaded with one All-Purpose Home Cleaner tablet
• Remove sprayer and add warm water
• Close bottle and shake gently; wait for tablet to dissolve. Warm water will dissolve the tablet faster than cold water (do not use very hot or boiling water).
• Spray your All-Purpose Home Cleaner on any hard surface*
  
• Wipe until clean and dry for a streak-free finish
  
  *Always test any stained/finished surface in an inconspicuous spot
  

When empty, add 1 All-Purpose Home Cleaner Refill Tablet to the bottle and repeat the steps above. Every refill tablet eliminates the need for one more single-use plastic bottle. Hooray!

If you go a couple of weeks between uses, the soap and water solution may separate. Give the bottle a little shake to mix it up before cleaning.

After adding water, use bottle contents within 6 months.

Nerd Alert: More Detailed Information On Ingredients: 

Potassium Cocoate and Sodium Cocoate: These are the chemical names of saponified (that is, 'made into soap') coconut oil. It's the chemical that grabs onto both dirt and water to do the cleaning.

Glycerin: This substance is chemically a type of alcohol and is naturally created when the oil is converted into soap. Glycerin is known for skin-softening abilities and is an effective solvent, meaning it can dissolve substances such as stains and dirts.

All glycerin in our products is a natural byproduct of the soap making process. We do not add additional glycerin. As a result, the glycerin is vegan, cruelty-free, and 100% organic coconut oil-derived.

Organic Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil: There is a small amount of coconut oil left in the soap after conversion to potassium cocoate and sodium cocoate. This is because we use potassium hydroxide and sodium hydroxide, both of which are commonly called lye, in the conversion process. Leaving a little excess oil ensures there is no remaining lye in the finished product. Some soapmakers refer to this as "superfatting." The more oil left in the final soap results in a softer, more moisturizing bar. Our cleaning soap recipe has only a small amount of excess oil, which results in a "get the job done" cleaning product instead of a lathery and luxurious finish.

Water: Water is used in the soapmaking process to dissolve lye and ensure the lye can reach all of the oil to fully and safely react. After saponification, the water evaporates from the soap. This takes a few days to several weeks.

The resulting solid soap has very little water, typically less than 5%. This solid form  is more shelf stable than a liquid soap, able to last years without a preservative that liquid soaps require (liquid soap is about 60% water).

Your new, mobile fork, spoon and knife clip together for compact transport and come in a hemp bag that you can keep them in or not for on-the-go eating. 

Take Back Ware is quite special because it is made in part from upcycled shaving blades that were collected via the Albatross Blade Take Back Program. The razor blades collected get melted down into molten steel and combined with new steel to make Take Back Ware. As such, we recently set the ambitious goal of getting back 100% of the blades we sell; this level of circular use is exactly the type of Big Systems shift we seek to create with this product.

Through Albatross Take Back Ware, we hope to promote the circular economy and normalize the idea of having reusable silverware with you when you, say, order take out, eat lunch at work and school, or are just going about your day and get hungry.

WHY?

• 100 Million plastic utensils are thrown away every day in the United States alone. 
• "Compostable" plastics may be better than those derived from petrochemicals, but the fact is we need to rethink the disposable economy; it is simply a waste of resources.
• Bringing your Take Back Ware with you is actually pretty easy to do. We hope you have a reusable water bottle by now and bringing your Take Back Ware with you is pretty similar.

Ditch your disposable dusters! This duster is made from multiple layers of flannel and fleece. Flannel layers will fray after washing, which will help the collection of dust.  Includes duster head and removable wood handle with cotton cord for hanging.

To wash, simply remove the duster from the custom made wood handle and slide back on once dry. The dusting heads do work with some leading brand duster handles, but we cannot guarantee it. Flannel prints are randomly selected. Entire assembled unit is 15.25" tall. Fabric dusting head is 8.5" tall by 7" wide.

Washing instructions: Machine wash warm with like colors, dry in dryer. Flannel will fray during the first few washes.

This is the product of fermented, vegetable-based raw materials and helps to dislodge dirt, ensure the tablet dissolves in water, and ensure the product’s pH is slightly acidic.

Sodium coco-sulphate

This is made in the laboratory, but its precursor is found in certain foods such as strawberries or cayenne pepper. It protects the product against microorganisms which could alter its quality.

Sodium carbonate

This mineral, also known as soda crystals or washing soda, is a filler to ensure that the tablet dissolves in water.

Potassium sorbate

This is made in the laboratory, but its precursor is found in mountain ash berries. It protects the product against microorganisms that could alter its quality.

D-limonene

This is extracted from the peel of citrus fruits by cold pressing, extraction or distillation and acts as a degreasing agent.
